Privacy Policy
Effective 7/27/2026
Work Certified operates getworkcertified.com. This policy explains what we collect through this website and what you can do about it.
What we collect. When you fill out a form or contact us, we collect what you give us — typically your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message. When you visit the site, we and our analytics providers automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, the site or search that referred you, and your approximate location based on IP address, generally at the city level.
This policy covers this website only. It does not describe how we handle your medical records, which is governed by federal and state health privacy law and by our office’s own policies. For questions about your medical records or your privacy rights as a patient, call our office.
Please don’t send medical information through this website. Our website forms and email links are not secure and are not an appropriate way to send medical information. Please don’t include symptoms, diagnoses, conditions, injuries, medications, test or imaging results, treatment history, insurance member or claim numbers, or Social Security numbers.
If you send it anyway. Information submitted through a website form or by email travels over the open internet and is handled by general-purpose website and form vendors, not secure clinical systems. By submitting it you accept that risk, and we can’t guarantee its confidentiality in transit or in those vendors’ systems. We are not responsible for interception or disclosure of health information sent through an unsecured channel after being asked not to. We’ll handle anything you do send in accordance with applicable law and will remove unsolicited health information from our website records where we’re able to.
No treatment relationship. Using this site, submitting a form, or emailing us does not create a provider-patient relationship and is not medical advice or a substitute for seeing a qualified professional. If you’re having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Don’t use this site to report one.
Analytics. The analytics tools described in this policy run only on the public pages of this site. They are not used on the patient portal, on any page requiring a login, or on any page where you enter clinical information.
Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files a website places on your device. We also use related technologies including tags and browser storage. Some are necessary for the site to work — navigation, security, and form submission. Others are analytics cookies.
We use Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) to manage the tags on our site, and two analytics services:
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), which collects the automatic information described above so we can see how visitors find and use the site.
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation), which collects information about clicks, scrolling, and page interaction that we review as aggregate heatmaps and session summaries.
Both providers may combine this information with other data they hold about you. Their own privacy policies describe their practices.
Controlling cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to stop Google Analytics collecting data about your visits to any site, or turn on Global Privacy Control — a setting in some browsers and extensions that signals an opt-out automatically, which we honor where applicable law requires. You can also call us with any request about your information. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
How we use it. To respond to your inquiries, schedule and follow up on appointments, send information you asked for, operate and improve the site, protect against fraud and security problems, and meet our legal obligations. We don’t make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Who we share it with. Vendors who work on our behalf — website hosting, form processing, email delivery, customer relationship management, marketing services, and analytics — and only for the purposes we specify. We may also disclose information where we believe in good faith it’s required by law, subpoena, or court order, or necessary to protect someone’s rights or safety, and information may transfer as part of a sale or merger of the business.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. Call us if you’d like the current list of vendors we use.
Other websites. We link to sites and services we don’t operate. When you follow a link off this site, you leave our control. This policy doesn’t cover those sites and we’re not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices.
Your choices. Call to ask what information we hold about you, get a copy, correct anything inaccurate, delete it, or stop receiving marketing messages. We’ll verify your identity before acting, which may mean asking for information that matches our records, and we’ll respond in a reasonable timeframe. If we can’t do what you asked, we’ll tell you why. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask for written proof of their authority. Asking us to do any of this won’t affect the service or pricing you receive.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There’s no agreed standard for how sites should respond, so we don’t act on it. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described above.
How long we keep it. We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, and longer where a law or professional obligation requires it. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Security. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted transmission and access controls. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children. This site isn’t directed to children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, call us and we’ll delete it.
Changes. We may update this policy. If we do, we’ll change the date above, and we’ll post a notice on the site for significant changes.
